(cont. from previous post) P.S I DO NOT AGREE WITH...

P.S I do not like the fact that for the next four weeks our lectures are online aswell! One of my previous blogs describes how people are getting lazy by online shopping etc well I thihk that this online lecture buisness is lectureres being lazy! I am finding it hard enough to learn anything by these online seminar-task-forum things! hense why i am struggling to complete them. So for lectures to be online i am not impressed! I think we should have been told about this online stuff before the course began or given the option to do it like this or not! Maybe it's just me thinking this but i am not impressed at all! I am not learning anything substancial by this online stuff.

Why can't we go back to good old fashion pen and paper and learning the course content by actually participating in reality and sitting in a seminar?!?!?

hey i agree with the online lectures, i feel that we get the basis of what is going on by attending the lecture, and that realistically how many people are going to read the online lectures, its not going to be a small amount of reading and along with the other readings in other units i think its asking a bit much of us in the reading department. There are already people who arent saying as much as others in forums so surely this will put more off. I dont think your over reacting, i like the online seminars and blog but its the lectures that keep me with it. Think i have repeated myself a bit lol.

I don't really agree with online lectures either. It doesn't seem fair to the students who turn up to every lecture, for the lazier students to be able to pass by just dowloading the notes. Maybe I am being a bit harsh, I don't know. I just think it is encouraging laziness - from students and lecturers.

Hiya Becky, I just mentioned something about the online lectures at the end of my last task and saw you had written this, but I really don't like the idea of having the lecture online because I like having some degree of interaction in real life rather then just staring at the computer screen, which I'm doing a lot of for this course :S I don't really mind the online seminar and blog as its different, but an online lecture is just a bit too different.

Hey, I thought you should know that i disagree as well about this online lecture. I think it is considered to be seen and intrepated as being lazy a waste of our own money going towards our education. I feel that we still need that face to face communication with our tutors. As discussed in seminar new media is developing but it we still need some guidnace I dont feel we will be getting it through online lectures.

P.S. you not the only one that as posted concerns on your blog about online lectures! lol

I was starting to feel like we didn't quite have enough reading to do this semester, what with Daves unit too, (please do note my sarcasm here) so I'm really pleased that lectures for the next few weeks are cancelled and we get to do a bit more reading...
